Goa has always been the jewel in Congress’ glorious history and history has been a testimony to the fact that it was under Congress’ rule that the unique social and cultural fabric of Goa was made known to the rest of the world. Congress is a crystallisation of the aspirations and ideals of the Goans and Goenkars and synonymous with the spirit of this unique land and its people.:
